I hate how entire songs can somehow put themselves together on the spot in my mind like as if it's an mp3 player churning out new stuff. Ungodly riffs, tapping bass fills, time signatures and tempo changes, polyrhythms, blast beats and solos built on scales i can't even name. Counterpoint, tritones, pinch harmonics, atonal harmonies and chromatic palm muted 16th note riffs. If i could record directly out of my head, i'd have an album by now.
I hate how everything disappears when i get home, sit down and try to tab it all out.
After my o's i'll make sure i sit down and get at least ONE song finished.
On a side note, who said bass guitar was simple and boring?
